Event Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Young Men's Ultimate Weekend (YMUW). These Participant Terms ("Terms") govern your participation in our wilderness rite of passage adventure camp for young men ages 13-20 (the "Event"). By registering for and participating in the Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and participating in the Event, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of the young man ("Participant") attending the camp and that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms on behalf of yourself and the Participant.

3. Description of the Event

The Young Men's Ultimate Weekend is a life-changing adventure camp where young men experience excitement, adventure, mentorship, and personal growth in a wilderness setting. Our goal is to provide a modern-day rite-of-passage experience that challenges and mentors participants to transition from boyhood to young adulthood.

4. Participant Eligibility

Participants must be male and between the ages of 13 and 20 to attend the Young Men's Ultimate Weekend. Parents or legal guardians must complete the registration process and provide all necessary information and consent forms on behalf of the Participant.

5. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that respects fellow participants, staff members, and the natural environment. Any behavior that is disruptive, disrespectful, or endangers the safety of others may result in immediate dismissal from the camp without refund.

6. Health and Safety

We have medical staff available to oversee any procedures that any participant may require. If the medical staff is unable to carry out the proper medical procedure, the participant will be taken to the nearest hospital. The parents and/or guardians of the participants will be informed in case of any emergency .

7. Liability Waiver

Participants and their parents or legal guardians understand and acknowledge the inherent risks associated with outdoor activities and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Young Men's Ultimate Weekend, its staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising from participation in the Event.

8. Photography and Media

YMUW reserves the right to photograph and record participants during the camp for promotional and educational purposes. By registering for the Event, Participants and their parents or legal guardians consent to the use of their likeness and/or testimonials in YMUW's marketing materials.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

a. If YMUW cancels an event, parents or whoever paid will receive a full refund.

b. If a parent requests a refund 7 days or fewer before any YMUW event they’ll receive a credit for the next event.

c. If a parent requests a refund 8 or more days before any YMUW event, they’ll get a full refund.

10. Camp Schedule

The camp schedule for the next event is June 21, 2024, at 4 PM to June 23rd, 2024, at 4 PM.

11. Changes to the Agreement

YMUW reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Participants and their parents or legal guardians will be notified of any changes, and continued participation in the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
